Location

We are located just off Wimborne Road in the heart of Winton. There is a short-term car park behind Wilkinson, accessed via Cranmer Road and just a 2-minute walk away. A good bus service to and from Bournemouth rail station is also only a short walk away.

Payment

Payment can be made either by cash or cheque with a valid guarantee card. There are several cashpoints nearby on Wimborne Road.

Cancellation

Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make your appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full treatment cost.

Pre-Treatment Advice

You are advised to wear clean, loose-fitting clothing to your appointment and clean cotton underwear is recommended if having any intimate hair removal treatment. Note the following important points and if in any doubt please phone for advice on 01202 383530

• Make sure the hair is long enough - 10mm is recommended for your first visit
• Ensure your skin is clean and preferably dry
• Do not exfoliate for four days prior to your treatment
• Do not expose the skin to the sun or a sun bed for at least 24 hours before a treatment
• Do not shave or use hair removal creams on the area to be treated for at least 3 weeks prior to a treatment
• Do not apply moisturisers, creams or oils for at least 24 hours before a treatment
• Do not go to the gym or an aerobics class on the same day as having a treatment
• Do not use bath oils for at least 24 hours before a treatment

Post-Treatment Advice

You will be provided with full after-care advice at your appointment but the following points are worth bearing in mind:

• Do not book your first treatment immediately before a special occasion or holiday as the treated area may look and feel a little sore afterwards - it's best to allow a couple of days for things to settle down before jetting off to the sun
• Do not shave or use hair removal creams between treatments as this diminishes the effectiveness of the next treatment
• Do not expose the skin to the sun or a sun bed for at least 24 hours
• Wear loose clothing for the first 24 hours if possible
• Do not use deodorants for at least 6 hours following an underarm treatment
• Do not have a hot bath or shower for at least 12 hours
• Do have a warm shower or bath with natural bath salts
• Avoid perfumed soaps and products with chemical irritants for 24 hours
• Avoid self tanning moisturisers and creams for 24 hours
